Hopi Ear Candling is an Indian Relaxation Ceremony for calming the mind and soothing the head and ears.

The Hopi are Native American people who live in North Eastern Arizona.

The name Hopi is a shortened version of Hoptuh Shi-nu-mu which means The Peaceful people.

The candles are made of cotton and beeswax and contain honey, sage, St John's Wort Camomile and essential oils. When lit a chimney effect takes place and the movement of the flame creates a vibration of air in the candle generating a gentle massage like effect on the eardrum. This creates a pleasant feeling of warmth and sometimes a sizzling noise can be heard together with a  blocking and unblocking sensation.

To complete the ceremony you receive a gentle and relaxing face and neck massage.
